Welcome to our little blog.

In September 2021, we set out to live a life detached from the strings of a traditional lifestyle with a mortgage and all of its constraints and become digital nomads. In researching the possibilities, we found it difficult to find blogs that spoke to people like us – a couple, over 50, still working professionals who are not interested in living in hostels, in a van, or crashing on couches. We wanted to enjoy traveling while still having many of the comforts of home, without that home being on wheels. This is not a blog about vacations per se, high adventures, or the latest Instragram worthy destinations as there are a host of brilliant blogs out there filling that niche already. We live in the places we travel to; shopping, dining and exploring much the way locals would. We invite you to come along and enjoy being a temporary local somewhere in the world, with us.
